The Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas is well known by travelers and locals. You can swim with dolphins, check out the aquarium that has sharks in it, relax on the beach, go for a swim in one of the 11 pools, go for a river ride and enjoy the 18 water slides. Lucayan National Park
Located on Grand Bahama Island, you will find some of the most prestige nature in the Bahamas. One of three national parks located on the island, Lucayan National Park is wildly popular and was even featured in Pirates of the Caribbean. The park is 40 acres of beautiful palm tree’s, mangroves, the Burial Mound Cave and underwater limestone caves. The beach in the park is relaxing and there are several places you can grab cold drinks and some lunch, or a snack to feed the fish. There are diving tours for scuba divers who want to explore the marine life of the park.
Garden of the Groves
Visit Garden of the Groves to see Bahamas nature at its finest. Discover the 12 acres of beautiful lush vegetation, a stunning chapel, rushing waterfalls and beautiful fountains. The garden is full of birds, butterflies, and other critters and it is a certified Wildlife Habitat. The Garden of the Groves is also rented out for weddings and special events.
Cable Beach
A few miles away from Nassau lays the two and a half-mile strip of beach, named Cable Beach. Cable Beach has everything you need for a fun-filled vacation, including a casino, a golf course, many high-end accommodations and restaurants, incredible nightlife and of plenty of water sports and other activities. You will find markets, street food vendors, cafes and small shops close to the beach for your convenience.
Blue Lagoon Island
Spend a day on the white sandy beach over on the Blue Lagoon Island. You can choose from a wide range of activities to do at Blue Lagoon Island. Grand Bahama Island

The beach has a few nice lunch spots, and you can go for a swim, enjoy the scenery, snorkel around the coral reefs, and visit the colony of pigs that frequent the shallow waters of the beach. The pigs are friendly and love to mingle with people in the water. Visitors coming to Grand Bahama Island are welcome to feed the pigs, which they appreciate greatly.
